We strive to create a welcoming space where all feel safe and comfortable. BL Spa is a safe place where everybody is welcome. We have gender-neutral restroom and thrive to include everybody.

Eco-Friendly and Sustainable:

This planet is our home and at BL Spa we believe in treating it with care and respect. We have made a concerted effort to bring you eco-friendly and sustainable products- not just in the individual products themselves, but through our packaging as well. Being environmentally conscious is one of our core values and we are proud to continuously work to keep our products as Earth friendly as possible.

We are making decision to help protect our environment! We order all our packaging from Noissue to increase who plant trees with each order. Our robes are from Monarch Cypress that provides different types of eco friendly robes with one of them being made out of recycled plastic bottles. Our Jacuzzi is also eco-friendly, the water system allows us to use less water than regular jacuzzi.

Beauty from within is B|L Spa’s motto, and it says it all! We are using and offering products that are beneficial for your outer beauty as well as your inner beauty.

As the demand for Acrylic Nails is high, our goal is to educate our clients on the importance of preserving their natural nails by transitioning them to Apres Gel-X Extensions. This new trend offers an elegant look that will protect the natural nail completely. Our goal will always be to use the best products for our clients to enhance their beauty from within.

Sara Ahdoot

Founder and Owner

Sara Ahdoot, a Canadian entrepreneur, has shared her passion for the beauty industry for over 14 years. She started her journey in Montreal, Canada when she opened her own nail salon. Soon after, she became a product distributor for many salons and spas. Now, having lived in a dramatically different location and climate, she hopes to share her vision for a perfect oasis. Sara welcomes you to her oasis in the desert, B|L Spa, now open in Glendale, Arizona.

Raquel Barron

Spa Director

Raquel Barron is an Arizona native with a knack for business and leadership. After witnessing her immigrant parents succeed as entrepreneurs, Raquel decided to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Thunderbird School of Management, and completed the esthetician program at Aveda Institute Phoenix. With her newly acquired knowledge of wellness and management, Raquel is excited to take on the Spa Manager role at B|L Spa team.

In her free time, Raquel likes to spend time honing her crochete skills, exploring new places, and spending quality time with her spunky corgi, Nacho.

Tova McLaren

Assistant Spa Manager

My name is Tova, I am the Assistant Manager here at B|L Spa and a certified makeup artist. I am a Swedish native but have been in Phoenix, Arizona for almost 10 years. It is truly a pleasure to be part of such an amazing team of artists and have the privilege of working alongside management, as they continue to teach and inspire me everyday. During my free time I enjoy traveling, dancing and spending time with my French Bulldog Koda and my tortoises Saguaro & Guava!

Makaila Kaufman

Social Media Marketing Specialist

I’m a social media marketing specialist here at the spa and I love it! I do all the recording and editing for content you see on instagram, facebook, & tiktok. I like that I get to capture the beauty of the many spa amenities! I took interest in the media industry since I graduated from Scottsdale Community College with a Motion Picture, Television, and New Media Production. Although I still work on production sets, I love that my everyday job involves a camera & editing!
